Today, Preston shoots mostly digital, however some images on this website were scanned from Fuji Provia (35mm slide) and shot from his old favorite - the Canon EOS 3, then scanned using a Nikon LS-2000 using Digital Ice.

All digital files were shot raw and converted to tifs, each at 36M. All files, scanned or digital, were then enhanced, using his own personal style to bring out the most of every image.

His favorite style is by far the "Grunge Style", also known as "Dragan Style" or wrongly named "the Lazlo Effect". This effect is guarded even more so today, because so many artist want to learn this style and its ultra long and tedious PS work flow.

However, on this website you will not find very much Grunge Style photos, but you will see a lot of it's influence as he applies this technique to many of his photos.
